The Spiritual Journey

Pasadena Facilitators

Chantel Zimmerman’s company, Art and Soul Lab invites people to nurture their nature by tapping into their inner wisdom, changing their relationship with their spiritual practice, and building the resilience necessary to act on big dreams. With 20+ years of experience facilitating workshops, classes and retreats, Chantel has come to recognize how contemplative practices support individuals on their personal journey; she often uses the labyrinth as a mediative tool for transformation. Chantel practices deep listening with clients and groups, incorporates the use of transformative arts for self-discovery, and offers healing experiences that promote well-being. Participants gain insight through times of transition, grief, and positive life changes.

Mary Chalon is a recent Stillpoint graduate and Spiritual Director. She has journeyed in her faith from early days in convent School in England to the Episcopal Church in Los Angeles many years later. She served as Children’s Ministry Director for eighteen years at Saint James’ church in South Pasadena, CA leading its Godly Play program and more.

She is a graduate and past mentor of EFM, is a longtime facilitator and member of an LA based women’s Spiritual Direction group, a member of the LA Diocese’ Commission on Ministry, a practitioner of Centering Prayer and a lifelong student of contemplative practices and Holy Listening. Mary holds a BA in Theater from Emerson College and she and her husband run Parson’s Nose theater in Pasadena, CA, having been professional actors throughout the United States for many years. Mary senses that the movements of the Holy Spirit are alive and creative in the Art of Spiritual Direction, and she looks forward to spiritual journeying with others.
