HENRI NOUWEN: |
As a spiritual icon, Henri Nouwen continues to exert a powerful influence on America's religious and spiritual landscape. From his loving, candid, and vunerable work and writings, Nouwen has emerged as a kind of spiritual guide for the rest of us---struggling, sometimes strong, often broken and hurting--as we struggle towards wholeness. Wil Hernandez take us though the story--Nouwen and his now famous work on the 'wounded healer" and his breakthrough discovery of a spirituality of imperfection--weaving spirituality, psychology, and theology into a fully integrated whole. The imperfect in us becomes a source of our embodied wholness! Don't miss this Retreat day of interaction, discovery and healing. This Retreat is for imperfect people! |
