Eleanor Hoppe  lives near the natural-bottom part of the Los Angeles River, home to all manner of birds, plants and currents. She spent 30 years at First Pres Hollywood, an intergenerational faith community that emphasized care for folks on the margins. While there, she taught children’s Sunday School and women’s Bible study, served as an elder, and worked with people preparing for ministry. Mom to three grown kids, she is particularly grateful for the gift of unschooling them for a time. Speaking of Jesus by Carl Medearis and the video Godspeed: The Pace of Being Known were pivotal in expanding Eleanor’s concept of faith. Eleanor recently completed Stillpoint’s Art of Spiritual Direction and Group Spiritual Direction training, and currently co-facilitates one of the Journey classes.

“Yin Mei” Lawrence, BSc, PhD, HTP-A, taught organic chemistry for over 20 years before taking early retirement to answer a call into ministry that led to the Wisdom path in 2018. She completed her Spiritual Direction training with the Mercy Center, Burlingame CA and is currently studying Energy Medicine through Healing Touch Integrative Care Program. As a trained scientist, teacher, energy healer and lifelong spiritual seeker, Yin Mei listens deeply with 3-centered awareness and speaks from a contemplative heart. Her longing is to be a witnessing companion to a person's holistic healing and transformation.

Ethnically Chinese, Yin Mei was born in Hong Kong, grew up as part of a large family in England and has lived in CA since 1999. As part of her growth and study, Yin Mei is keen to explore the synergy between spiritual direction and energy therapy for healing of body, soul and spirit.
